Improper installation examples

The roof leak was a simple separation at the duct work seam. This allowed moisture to enter the HVAC system and leak into the structure below.
The roofer attempted to repair this unit by installing rolled roofing which was lifting and not sealed at the edges, allowing moisture to enter.
The base flashing of this HVAC unit is lifting and allowing moisture to enter underneath the unit.
This HVAC duct work has multiple repair attempts. The roof leak was at the connection, and coming in at the base where the flashing was lifted.
